Folios 337-338: Wilson Rathborne, Regulating Officer, North Shields. Responding to the letter of 25 October and sends a report on the case of Robert Wardle (miscalled Peter Wardle) on board the Eliza tender. He returns the enclosure and the Protection taken from Wardle when pressed. Robert Wardle, Ordinary Seaman, was pressed by Lieutenant Liddle, Sunderland, on 17 October on information that he had been at sea for 4 years as a Keelman on the Wear. He is about 19 years old, an active, healthy young man well suited for service.

Folio 341: enclosure with folios 339-340. Copy of baptism certificate from 1792, by J Hampson, Rector, Parish of Sunderland, taken on 21 October 1811. Robert, son of James and Thomasina Wardle, was born 17 May 1792 and baptised 11 September.
Folios 342- 343: enclosure with folios 339-340. Protection dated 3 April 1809 issued to Robert Wardle, Apprentice to William Armstrong, Sunderland, by Indenture dated 28 February 1809.
