Folios 315-316: Peter Rye, HMS Providence, River Humber. Reports the arrival of the British Fair cutter with the loss of her Bowsprit. She towed in a timber-laden vessel from ?Memel bound for London, badly damaged in gales. The British Fair will proceed to Yarmouth for repairs as soon as a new Bowsprit is obtained.
