Folios 306-307: Wilson Rathborne, Regulating Officer, North Shields. Responding to the letter of 1 November and sends a report on the case of George Liddle, on board the Eliza tender. George Liddle, Ordinary Seaman, entered as a volunteer with Lieutenant Frame at Newcastle on 17 October. George Liddle is about 22 years old, an active healthy man, and well suited for service.
Folios 308-309: enclosure with folios 306-307. Petition to The Admiralty dated 28 October 1811 from John Blackett, for the discharge of George Liddell, a Keelman bound to the petitioner for one year from 28 December, who entered as a Volunteer on 17 October when intoxicated. The enclosed Protection shows he is protected, and he has refused to receive the bounty as he wishes to be discharged.
Folio 310: enclosure with folios 306-307. Certificate dated 21 June 1811, from Wilson Rathborne, Regulating Officer, North Shields, confirming that George Liddell, Keelman, has subscribed his quota towards raising a substitute.
