Folios 232-233: Edward Rodney, HMS Africaine, Portsmouth. Reports that James Holman of his ship has reported that he was Boatswain of HMS Partridge and HMS Eurydice. He was dismissed, but not broken, from the latter by Court Martial. Since then he has served as Boatswain's Mate in HMS Cleopatra and now HMS Africaine. His warrants are enclosed [not present]. Requests his case be considered. He has a wife and children, has been serving for 20 years, and went into HMS Partridge from the Rigging House at Plymouth.
