Folios 198-199: Robert Russell, HMS Cygnet, Woolwich. Sends the Warrant of Mr William Talbot as Boatswain of HMS Cygnet. In Captain Russell's opinion, he is qualified for the position.
Folio 200: enclosure with folios 198-199. Warrant issued by Rear Admiral Sir Francis Laforey, Commander in Chief of HM ships and vessels at Barbados, Leeward Islands, etc, appointing William Talbot, Acting Boatswain of HMS Cherub, to be Acting Boatswain of HMS Cygnet in place of John Ludlow, who will transfer to be Acting Boatswain of HMS Cherub.
