Folios 397-398: Wilson Rathborne, Regulating Officer, North Shields. Jonathan Collingwood was impressed by Lieutenant Liddle in Sunderland as he was a Ballast Keelman so he counts as having been at sea. Davison in the affadavit swears too much as Collingwood admits he has been employed on rivers.
Folios 399-400: enclosure with folios 397-398. Petition of John Frost, Durham. He is the owner of the Jane in the coal trade. Jonathan Collingwood was lawfully bound to Mr Tanner, part owner of the Jane, of Bishop Wearmouth for three years. He was impressed on August 19 1810 as he had been to sea before he was bound. Joseph Davison's affadavit says he has never been to sea as he was a labourer aboard a Ballast Keel Lighter.
