Folios 385-386: Wilson Rathborne, Regulating Officer, North Shields. John Hollman now aboard the Eliza, came as a substitute for Thomas Chance, sent to the Nore on the Lyra tender on August 29 1810. He called himself a Swede and said he had been brought up in an Academy. As he has no trade substitutes would be a greater acquisition.
Folios 387-388: enclosure with folios 385-386. Letter dated 11 September 1810 by John Hollman, Eliza tender, North Shields. Asks if he can find two substitutes as he is a landsman.
