Folios 371-372: Wilson Rathborne, Regulating Officer, North Shields. Jonathan Collingwood was impressed by Lieutenant Liddle from the Jane of Sunderland Master John Frost on 29 August 1810. He said he had been employed as a Ballast Keelman on the Wear and had been bound to Mr Tanner.
Folios 373-374: enclosure with folios 371-372. Letter dated 1 September 1810 by H. Tanner, Bishop Wearmouth, Sunderland. Jonathan Collingwood was bound to him for three years on 26 June 1809 but he was impressed on August 29 1810 as he was a Ballast Keelman. This does not count as sea service and he should be released. He can send affadavits that the man has never served at sea.
