Folios 248-249: Henry Hume Spence, 23 Norfolk Street. Explains that his accounts for the period 8 January 1808 to 7 January 1809 are currently held in the Victualler Office waiting for a Certificate from Stephen Branch, Acting Purser from 8 January to 16 February 1808 and who is now in the West Indies. Asks for the accounts to be dispersed, giving assurances that everything is in order and that the only reason a Certificate has not been issued is that Stephen Banks' sudden departure from the ship to sail to the West Indies.
