Folios 219-220: George Stuart, L'Aimable off Heligoland. Writes to Rear Admiral Sir Richard John Strachan saying that he went to the assistance of Mr Nicholas in the Elbe and found that the French had built a battery in Cuxhaven but he hopes to prevent them from making excursions to Newark or make any further works. Not all of the squadron has arrived but he is trying to protect the merchants from privateers. HMS Patriot, HMS Ens and HMS Jahde have arrived and HMS Alert has been sent to Yarmouth with the letter.
Folios 221-222: enclosure with folios 219-220. Letter dated 26 April 1810 by George Stuart, HMS L'Aimable. Writes to the Admiralty enclosing a copy of the above letter.
