Description

Folios 182-183: John Stuart, Plymouth. Encloses a letter from the Gunner of HMS Argus whom he recommends.

Folios 184-185: enclosure with folios 182-183. Letter dated 6 April 1810 by James Clarke, Gunner, HMS Argus, Hamoaze, notes that HMS Argus is to be put out of commission and writes to Captain Stuart asking to be recommended to a ship in service.
