Folios 156-157: Stephen Seymour, HMS Arab, Spithead. Reports his arrival, having delayed his departure from New York in order to bring despatches from Consul General Phineas Bond. He received a packet addressed to Lord Grenville on 20 April and sailed the same day. He has given the despatches to Lieutenant Netter to deliver in London. The packet Cartaret may not yet have reached England, so encloses a copy of the letter he sent home in her detailing his proceedings after he left the Island of Tercera [Terceira] as well as [not present] the state and condition of his ship.
Folios 158-159: Stephen Seymour, HMS Arab, New York. [Duplicate of folios 151-152, except that dated 11 April 1796 rather than 10 April]
