Folios 151-152: Stephen Seymour, HMS Arab, New York. Is sending this despatch with the packet Cartaret as it may reach England before he does. Reports his arrival off Sandy Hook on 4 April, delivered the despatches to Consul General Phineas Bond in Philadelphia the following day. He has come to New York to get a new Foremast. The Consul has requested that he delay his departure for a few days as he may be able to carry important despatches home. Encloses a duplicate of his last letter from the Island of Tercera [Terceira].
