Description (What the record is about)

Folios 134-135: George Scott, HMS Albatross, Yarmouth Roads. Reports his arrival and that off Flambro [Flamborough] Head on 31 May he found a brig drifting deserted, with the name"The London Packet of London" on her transom. Presumes she was either plundered by the enemy or deserted by her crew. He took the vessel in tow but early the next morning the tow parted and she was seen to sink.
