Folios 115-116: Matthew Henry Scott, HMS Hebe, Spithead. Reports his arrival from Tortola with a convoy of 42 ships, including several from Grenada and St Vincent which were not able to reach St Kitts to join the convoy escorted by Captain McDouall [Robert McDougall] of HMS Ganges. Encloses [not present] copies of his log and of his orders from Rear Admiral Henry Harvey and from Captain McDouall, who directed him to join the St Kitts convoy north of Anagada. He was not able to do this, and when his convoy was scattered by a gale on 9 September he managed to round up about 20 ships, with which he arrived off Plymouth yesterday. Many of the transports went into Plymouth and he has brought the rest to Spithead.
