Folios 219-220: John Clarke Searle, HMS Pelican. Requests the address of the Purser appointed to HMS Pelican. He wants him to hurry to join the ship as they are in need of him. He commissioned HMS Pelican last Saturday. She will be ready for sea shortly, as long as she is not detained awaiting the guns. There does not appear to be any Second Lieutenant appointed yet.
