Folios 164-165: Alexander Schomberg, HMS Dorset, Dublin. Reports his return from Holyhead. H.E. The Earl Fitzwilliam landed at Balbriggen on Sunday morning and proceeded direct to Dublin, arriving in the afternoon. Captain Schomberg was concerned about the need to anchor off that port, but His Excellency did not wish to continue the voyage any longer in the adverse winds and extreme weather. HMS Druid accompanied them. Their late arrival in Dublin Harbour caused the Earl of Westmorland to embark on a Packet, which then set sail immediately.
