Folio 160-161: Isaac Schomberg, HMS Magnanime, Plymouth. Reports his arrival, folowing orders received from Vice Admiral Kingsmill and Commodore Sir John Borlase Warren to refit. He left the Commodore at anchor in the Road of Isle Dieu on 7 October and has forwarded his dispatches by today's mail. Postscript: In case no recent report has been received from Rear Admiral Harvey, he notes that he passed within about 3 miles of the Squadron under his command on 9 October. There were gales blowing and they were 2 or 3 leagues off Bellisle. The Squadron then all but disappeared but from the signals appeared to be steering for Quiberon Bay.
