Folios 490-491: Charles Rowley, HMS Eagle, Portsmouth. The Portsmouth Clerk of the Cheque has marked as Run the people in the enclosed list after the expiration of their leave and 3 musters without leave. Reports this in order that they may be apprehended as deserters.
Folios 491-492: enclosure with folios 490-491. List dated 5 April 1809 from Charles Rowley, Portsmouth, of men Run from HMS Eagle. Nominal list of 45 men giving Number on ship's books, date of entry, received from, name, age, quality, height, complexion, where born, trade or profession and remarks.
Folios 492-493: enclosure with folios 490-491. List dated 20 March 1809 from Charles Rowley, HMS Eagle, Portsmouth Harbour. Nominal list of 51 men, 1 boy and 2 marines giving Number on ship's books, date of entry, received from, name, age, quality, height, complexion, where born, trade or profession and remarks.
