He had orders from Captain Hotham of HMS Defiance to proceed to England in HMS Goldfinch to attend a Court Martial to be held on Lord Gambier. He has arrived in Town from Plymouth and waits for further orders. Asks to be allowed to remain in Town til the trial is about to take place.
