Folios 175-176: Peter Rye, HMS Providence, Humber. HMS Providence returned to the Humber yesterday evening having seen her convoy safe into Flemish Roads Gothenburg. As HMS Charles armed ship was there to bring home the trade bound to Newcastle, the Humber and intermediate ports on the Yorkshire coast, Captain Martin of HMS Implacable thought it advisable for HMS Providence to return without delay.
