Folios 106-107: William Rogers, HMS Thisbe, off Greenwich. When he passed his accounts as Commander of HMS Thisbe to 31 March [1809] he sees he only received compensation for 3 servants, according to the ship's complement. He understands officers in a similar situation, when the ship is reduced and additional expense is incurred due to responsibility for a great number of Sipernumeraries, have been allowed compensation for the original establismnet of the ship. Asks to be allowed compensation for a complement of 121 men.
