Folios 492-493: William Gordon Rutherford, HMS Decade, Curacoa Harbour. He reports that he is very pleased with Lieutenant [G?] appointed to his ship. He encloses a list of seamen impressed by him whose master have refused to pay their wages and requests that the solicitor of the Admiralty recovers from him the plea for his not paying is that he has impressed the chief mate who is a deserter from HMS Acasha.
Folios 494-495: enclosure with folios 492-493, Letter undated by William Gordon Rutherford. A list of men impressed by HMS Decade from the Naiad of London, John Roberts, master, owners John Wood, grocer and tea dealer, 10 corner of Nightingale Lane East Smithfield London. They are Robert Cockerell, carpenter, £4.6.0, Robert Thompson, 2nd mate, £10.15.10, James Leadnea, 2nd mate £8.12.0 and James Jacobson, 2nd mate, £8.6.0.
