Folios 460-461: Samuel Campbell Rowley, HMS Terror, Nore. Concerning the case of Alexander Bunton or Bonton of the ship Hannah, who was impressed on board on 16 August 1801 but did not have any protection. He awaits further orders.
Folios 462-463: Enclosure with folios 460-461. Letter dated 19 August 1801 by L Noel to the Admiralty. Confirming that Alexander Bunton, Carpenter, of the Hannah of Sunderland was put on board HMS Terror, captain Samuel Campbell Rowley. He encloses the affidavit and requests his discharge as the Hannah cannot proceed to her port without him.
Folio 464: Enclosure with folios 460-461. Affidavit dated 18 August 1801 from G Robinson, collector, Custom House, Sunderland. Oath made by Richard Sharp that he is the master of the Hannah of Sunderland and he has appointed Alexander Bunton to be his carpenter. He confirms that Bunton does not belong to any of HM ships or sloops of war nor deserted from any of them.
