Folios 331-332: Thomas Rogers, HMS Mercury, Malta. Enclosing a copy of his letter to Lord Keith stating the capture of the Bulldog.
Folios 333-334: enclosure with folios 331-332. Letter dated 17 September 1801 from Thomas Rogers, HMS Mercury , Gulf of Tarento. Reporting on the recapture of the Bulldog which had sailed from Ancona with several trabaccolis for Egypt or Tarento laden with cannon powder, shot etc which had been spotted by HMS Santa Dorothea. He reports on the gallantry of William Stuart, HMS Champion under fore from the French batteries near Gallipoli.
