Description

Folios 312-313: Thomas Rogers, HMS Mercury in Trieste Road. Enclosing a copy of his letter to Lord Keith.

Folios 314-315: enclosure with folios 312-313. Letter dated 3 July 1801 from Thomas Rogers, HMS Mercury in Trieste Road to Lord Keith. Relating in detail his activities in the Adriatic with HMS El Corso and the Neapolitans. Mentioned are the convoys under Charles Ogle, HMS Greyhound, the Pigmy cutter and HMS Resource. He now plans to watch the motions of the enemy at Ancona and requests more ships are assigned to the Adriatic.
