Folios 296-297: Thomas Rogers, HMS Mercury off Port Mahon. Enclosing a copy of his letter to Manley Dixon, HMS Genereux stating the capture of the French corvette La Sanz Pareille.
Folios 298-299: Enclosure with folios 296-297. Letter dated 22 January 1801 from Thomas Dixon, HMS Mercury to Manley Dixon, HMS Genereux. Reporting that he fell in with La Sanz Pareille off Sardinia commanded by Citizen Gabriel Rennault, Lieutenant de Vaisseau with 152 men on board, from Toulon bound for Alexandria with shot, arms, medicines and supplies of every kind and 6 Medical men.. He prize is now in Port Mahon and the prisoners disposed of.
