Description

Tower of London. 'Copy of the draught of the Tower Liberties survey'd in the year 1597 by Gulelmus Haiward and I. Gascoyne'. Copy made by Robert Whitehand, Draughtsman of the Ordnance, January 17[year illegible] of a lost sixteenth-century manuscript map by William Hayward and Joel Gascoyne. No scale shown. This map was on display at the Museum of London from 1913 to 2001.
