Folios 406-407: Alexander Milner, HMS Devastation, the Downs. Received letter of 24 April. Says George Cox, a boy was sent to the Marine Society by his parents.
Folios 408-409: enclosed in folios 406-407. George Cox, Webb Buildings, Bethnal Green. Petitions their son age 12 left home 18 April and went to the Marine Society and was put onboard HMS Devastation bomb vessel. Applied for his discharge but heard nothing from the ship.
