Folios 243-244: Keith Maxwell, HMS Arabe, Boulogne. Acknowledges letter 20 December to report on men entered for Lord Cochrane off the Pallas. James Dawson came onboard a week after he joined the ship. Detained him finding he’d deserted from HMS Lord Nelson hired ship. Has since volunteered on HMS Arab because she’s a new ship. Put him on books as good seaman.
