Folios 210-211: Henry Matson, HMS Venus, Lough Swilly. Says John Martin was impressed from the Devonshire merchant ship off Isle of White 29 January 1804. Appears wounded in right leg when onboard HMS Royal George. Is lame and a Greenwich pensioner. Returns enclosures.
Folios 212-213: enclosed in folios 210-211. Petition dated 24 May 1804 by Ann Martin, 4 Bay Street, Liverpool to Admiral Gambier. Petitions that John Martin, husband, eight year's service was discharged from HMS Royal George wounded. Out pensioner at Greenwich. Was impressed and on HMS Venus. Requests his discharge. Has small weakly children.
Folio 214: enclosed in folios 210-211. Printed Greenwich Hospital Out-Pensioner Ticket no. 4497. Affidavit sworn 30 November 1803, Kent. John Martin has not pawned his Out-Pension ticket.
