Description

Folios 569-570: Charles Rowley, Stone House, Plymouth. Writes concerning Lieutenants French and Gower put under arrest by his brother [Captain Bartholomew Samuel Rowley of HMS Ramillies] and who waited to know their fates as Captain Henry Inman had joined HMS Ramillies, and seek to know in what manner they are now released.

Folio 571: enclosure with folios 569-570. Admiralty note dated 6th October 1798. Lieutenants French and Gore of HMS Ramillies are released from arrest.
