Folios 481-482: William Moore, HMS Vesuvius, Spithead. Encloses a letter from the Surgeon of HMS Vesuvius regarding Philip Hellyer, Purser of HMS Vesuvius, requesting he be superceded on account of illness.
Folios 483-484: enclosure with folios 481-482. Letter dated 14 July 1799 by Ben Lara, Surgeon, HMS Vesuvius to Captain Moore. Regarding the health of Philip Hellyer asking him to be superceded on health grounds.
