Folios 465-466: Graham Moore, HMS Melampus, Cove of Cork. Transmitting a letter from Captain Mansfield of HMS Dryad to Admiral Kingsmill, received from the Prize ship Ceres, captured by HMS Revolutionaire and Dryad. He ordered the Winder, Irish revenue cutter, to escort the convoy containing the Dorset and Lancashire regiments of Militia from Waterford to Bristol, there being none of His Majesty's ships in this port except HMS Melampus, HMS L'Engageante and HMS Princess.
Folio 467: enclosure with folios 465-466. Letter dated 19 Sept 1799 by Captain Charles John Moore Mansfield, HMS Dryad at sea. Reporting the capture of the Prize ship Ceres going to Cork, by the Revolutionaire from Rochelle, bound to Port au Prince, San Domingo, loaded with wine, cordage, butter. He has parted company with the Botany Bay ships [Latitude and Longitude given], and has been delayed in carrying out orders by the light winds and calms.
