Admiralty Inlet and Puget Sound. By the United States Exploring Expedition, 1841. Coast South of C Flattery by the same in 1853'. Inset 'Continuation of Admiralty Inlet and Puget Sound'. Reference notes. Scale: 1 inch to about 3 sea miles. Compass roses. Corrections and additions August 1864 and February 1865. Magnetic variation 1866. Further corrections October 1866, May and September 1867, February 1868, January and April 1871. Coastlines tinted. Coloured manuscript additions illustrate the Case of the British Government submitted for the arbitration award of the Emperor of Germany in accordance with article 34 of Treaty of Washington, 8 May 1871. In a volume of maps relating to the Juan de Fuca boundary question sent to Admiral Prevost, Berlin, 12 June 1872. The case and maps were subsequently printed for Parliament (HC 1873 LXXIV). Engraved by J and C Walker. Published at the Hydrographic Office, Admiralty, 18 January 1849.
