Map 6. Admiralty chart 2689: 'North America West Coast Haro and Rosario Straits Surveyed by Captain G H Richards and The Officers of H.M.S. Plumper 1858-9'. Reference table. Magnetic variation in 1859. Compass roses. Coasts based on American surveys of 1841 and Captain H Kellett's survey, 1847. Minor corrections April, June and December 1866 and February 1868. Coastlines tinted. Coloured manuscript additions show alternative boundary lines. Part of another chart showing the coast as far as Departure Bay is affixed to upper left corner. In a volume of maps relating to the Juan de Fuca boundary question sent to Admiral Prevost, Berlin, 12 June 1872. Published at the Admiralty, London, 28 July 1859. Reduced from the originals and drawn for engraving by Edward J Powell. Engraved by J and C Walker. With corrections dated September 1864 and February 1865.
