Founded upon a Trigonometrical Survey under the direction of F R Hassler and A D Bache Superintendents of the Survey of the Coast of the United States ... Published in 1848'. Four views of points in the bay. Scale: 1 inch to about 2.25 miles. Tables of tides, buoys, magnetic variations. Sailing directions. Surveyed by F R Hassler, J Ferguson, C M Eakin, F H Gerdes, J E Johnstone, W M Boyce, H L Whiting, G D Wise, J J S Hassler, B F Sands. Plan number 56 of the Anglo-American Fishery Commission Atlas of 1862, bearing names of commissioners and U S surveyor. Manuscript line across the river mouth shows fishing limits.
