Tables of tides and currents, lighthouses, magnetic variations. Scale: 1 inch to 1.25 miles. Sailing directions. Compass roses. Published in 1862 and used as plans 52 and 54 of the Anglo-American Fishery Commission Atlas, 1862. Manuscript additions to chart: names of commissioners and U S Surveyor. Electrotype copy by G Mathiot, USCS. Prepared under the direction of Superintendent A D Bache, by J Ferguson, F H Gerdes, J E Johnstone, E Blunt, J E Hilgard, H L Whiting, J C Neilson, J J S Hassler, G D Wise, R D Cutts and others.
