From a Trigonometrical Survey under the direction of A D Bache, Superintendent of the Survey of the Coast of the United States... Published in 1849. Electrotype Copy No. 1 by G Mathiot USCS'. Tide tables and sailing directions. Scale: 3 inches to about 2 miles. Compass star. Surveyed by J Ferguson, J E Johnston, H L Whiting, R D Cutts, J C Neilson and Lieutenant W P McArthur, of the U S Topographical Engineers. Engraving by F Dankworth, O A Lawson, W Smith, and S T Pettit. Printed by H Benner. Plan number 50 of the Anglo-American Fishery Commission Atlas of 1862, with a manuscript line drawn across the river mouth to show fishing limits. Names of commissioners and of the U S Surveyor have been added.
