Folios 192-193: Frederick Lewis Maitland, London. Reports that the Navy Board has appointed Mathew Edwards, former Sailmaker of HMS Loire and now in HMS Magnificent, to be Sailmaker of HMS Voluntaire and similarly the Ordnance Board has appointed Theodore L'Epée, former Armourer of the Loire, to the same position in his new ship. Asks that both men now be discharged into the Voluntaire.
