Folios 160-161: George McKinley, HMS Lively, in the Tagus. Reports that he arrived on 25 December and is just waiting for the packet which is due before commencing his cruise. HMS Raven arrived yesterday, having recaptured the Jupiter which had been taken by a Spanish lugger. He has directed Commander James Grant to escort the packet 30 leagues to the West and then to cruise between St Ubes [Setubal ?]and the Burlings [Ilhas Berlengas ?]. Lieutenant Samuel Scudmore Heming in HMS Richmond is cruising off Oporto.
