Folios 151-152: George McKinley, HMS Lively, Falmouth. Acknowledges the instruction to state the case of Thomas Thompson, Caulker, and to discharge him into HMS Salvador del Mundo. Reports that when he took command he found that Thompson did not know his trade, and so disrated him and put him in the Carpenter's Crew. He has now been sent aboard HMS Tromp for passage to Plymouth.
Folio 153: enclosed with folios 151-152. Admiralty slip with instructions for dealing with Captain McKinley's letter.
