Folios 125-126: George McKinley, HMS Lively, at sea. Reports that he sailed from Lisbon two days ago with HMS Iris and a convoy for England. The next day the brig Favorite of London, R Strickland, Master, made a distress signal as she had sprung a leak. When the Lively's carpenter and several sailing Masters from the convoy reported she could not be saved, he took the crew off and ordered that she be set alight.
