Folio 247: enclosure with folios 245-246. Letter dated 30 June 1813 from J. Horsley recommending his nephew Captain Robert Rowley for promotion which has been mentioned in the newpapers. He has lived an idle life for two years, and it would benefit the whole family for him to be employed.
