Folios 527-528: John Murray, Downing Street. Encloses a letter from Ward & Co, attorneys to the owners of the Loyalist, who have brought a suit against him for detaining the sails of that vessel while in command of HMS Heroine. Asks that the Admiralty protect him .
Folios 529-530: enclosure with folios 527-528. Messrs Ward, Deppett & Greaves, Covent Garden. Seek to recover the £560 in damages awarded to the owners of the Loyalist in the court action.
