Description

Folios 522-523: John Jackson, 36 New Broad Street Buildings. Encloses a commission appointing Commander George Mundy as Acting Captain of HMS Culloden.

Folios 524-525: enclosed with folios 522-523. Commission dated 24 May 1800 and signed by Vice Admiral Lord Keith, Commander in Chief, Mediterranean, HMS Minotaur, off Genoa, appointing Commander George Mundy of HMS Bonne Citoyenne as Acting Captain of HMS Culloden to replace Captain Sir Thomas Troubridge, who has been ordered back to England.
