Folios 504-505: Joshua Mulock, HMS Hindostan, Deptford. Acknowledges the letter concerning John Cotterell, a deserter from HMS Chichester. As he had previously reported, the Chichester had left the Mediterranean before he arrived there. When he arrived back in the Downs he reported Cotterell to the flag ship, and an attempt was made to send a Midshipman from the Chichester to collect him, but the Hindostan had to sail before the boat could reach her. He took the opportunity to send the man aboard the flagship at the Nore on his way to Long Reach.
