Folios 490-491: Joshua Mulock, HMS Hindostan, Deptford. Reports that Joseph George has no documents to prove his American citizenship, and there is no one by the name of John Chonling on the books. John Cotterell says he is American, but again has no documents. He was discharged from HMS Royal William into the Hindostan as a deserter from HMS Chichester shortly before he sailed for the Mediterranean.
