Folios 461-462: Joshua Mulock, HMS Hindostan, Gibraltar Bay. Reports that Carpenter Mr Chapman died shortly before his arrival in Gibraltar, and Commissioner John Nicholson Inglefield recommended Mr Crusoe, who had been apprenticed at Chatham, nine years in the Gibraltar Dockyard and was most recently was apointed Carpenter of HMS Guerriere by Earl St Vincent. He is giving Mr Crusoe a passage to England and an order as Acting Carpenter.
