Folios 428-429: Zachary Mudge, HMS Fly, off Cherbourg. Reports that a Danish fleet is expected from Lisbon with cargoes of cotton and sugar. He took depositions from the crew of a Danish vessel coming out of the port who reported that the cargo of the blockaded convoy from La Hogue was being brought round to Cherbourg and that officers joined the frigate Hereuse yesterday with order to get her ready for sea. There is no evidence of any combustibles or fire vessels in the harbour. HMS Rambler joined yesterday.
